September 4th.

This was a day full of excitement. First, the kids went to the computer room to chat or play a bit in the morning. Then, we had lunch and left to Conard River, a very beautiful natural reservation which motto is “Keep the river clean for you”. The goal was to do a “Canoe Trip”. The kids formed groups of three in the boats in order to go down the river and enjoyed the beauty of the Canadian nature. Before beginning with the trip, the kids were explained the conditions and rules in order to have a safe and joyful experience. Ronald, the leading guide told every single kid the rules to be followed, such us: “Not to stand up on the boat, not to move on it to keep the balance and not to flip the boat, since the water was kind of cold and the temperature had dropped to 18 Celsius degrees. They were told that the river was not deep and there were no dangerous animals that could jeopardize their safety, but it was much better to avoid flipping the boat because it could delay the progress of the trip. However, some of them wouldn´t listen to Ron´s advice and nine kids fell into the cold river. It took them a while to get their boats in the right position to continue the trip. The good thing about it…. they worked as teams, all together as good friends, although a few of them were desperate and kind of pissed off, but they got over it. Krissy, Ron´s daughter, accompanied us in this adventure and she also helped guiding us. At the end of this trip, there were some muddy kids who had to take another shower to remove all the dirt coming from the river…. and then, be ready for dinner. Another exciting day, for very active kids!

KEEP FOLLOWING THE RULES LIKE THAT.... I DON'T REALLY THINK IN THAT AS AN ACCIDENT!!! HA!
BUT THE REASON IS TO BE HAPPY AND TO ENJOY AS MUCH AS YOU CAN SO... AT THE END... THE REASONS ARE NOT IMPORTANT!!!
