This was the last school day for the kids with a test included. After lunch, they had a thirty minute rehearsal for the graduation the next day. Right after that, we went to Vollmer Centre, an indoor complex where the families go in order to share some time. So, the goal for the kids was to have some fun in “H2OASIS Aquatic Centre” swimming pool, but at the same time they had the opportunity to interact with other Canadian kids. Then, we went to Assumption Church in downtown, very close to the “Ambassador Bridge”, which connects Canada with the United States. As a historical fact, this beautiful brick building is the oldest church in Windsor, whose opening took place in 1845. So, the kids could cherish the beauty of this architectonical masterpiece of the 19th century. Once again, the Canadians expressed their kindness and admiration towards our boys´ behavior, because just when the holy mass was over, one of the helpers of it said: “Congratulations for your kids, very good behavior” and smiled at us. These words reminded us that these boys are representing our school and our country very well….so congratulations once again!!!!.
Later on, we went to Mc Donalds for their favorite snacks and then, we all had our last walking across Detroit River and had the last look at this beautiful city and its neighbor, Detroit.
